Winter is here and we are a little surprised by how quickly it turned from balmy October to bitter October...

So, in honor of this cold snap the ladies from the Giddings Study Club will stir up some yummy Chicken Spaghetti! Join them at Immanuel Lutheran Fellowship Hall at 11am tomorrow!

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEEK

The Giddings Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Staff are
grateful to our members and partners for their continued support
throughout the year. The Chamber advocates for businesses and our
community on the local, state, and federal level in an effort to improve our
local economy. Join us in celebratiing with our Chamber members and
thanking them during this week. The Chamber connects businesses and
communities to opportunities, while leading and growing our business

community with information and resources.

• Thursday, October 18th from 7:30-8:30am at Citizens National
Bank for Business & Breakfast.
• Friday, October 19th from 9-11am – Eleanor’s Cottage for
Coffee and Donuts with the Chamber.

The mission of the Giddings Area Chamber of Commerce is to create a
progressive business environment, take a leadership role in the community,
be an information resource for members, and increase growth of tourism.

Giddings Study Club - Chicken Spaghetti Luncheon
Tuesday, October 16, 2018
from 11:00am to 1:00pm
at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall

$9.00 a plate
Includes spaghetti, salad, tea/water/coffee and dessert

All proceeds to benefit community service projects including library, scholarships and other school/community related activities

Halloween will be here before we know it and as a prelude, there is Pumpkinfest where growers in the area will see who has the biggest fruit. If you aren’t crazy about looking at a bunch of pumpkins there is also the Chocolate Lovers Festival going on at the same time.

The date for the festivals is Saturday, October 20, 2018. There will be games for the little ones, snacks and food, and PUMPKINS! Big ones!
