The week flew by and we are happy that it is so beautiful outside. The surprise pop up showers in the late afternoon help to cool the air and make it lovely to spend time in the yard. Those skeeters tho???

Thank goodness the City of Giddings is so persistent and consistent with the mosquito spray. I feel a lot better when I hear a mosquito truck pass by my house. Thank you to the City of Giddings Employees for taking care of us.

The summer is going by so quickly and we want to remind you of a few things that are coming up soon.

This weekend is Juneteenth... enjoy yourselves.

In two weeks it will be July 4th! This is going to be a great celebration! Starting on Friday night and going all the way until Sunday night.

Grimes Street Music Fest and the Giddings Sesquicentennial Celebration are all located on the Courthouse Square starting on Friday evening.
