Winedale’s next lunch and learn will be on Tuesday, October 17, at noon. Historian Sheldon Lippman, the immediate past-president and an active member of the Texas Jewish Historical Society, will present “The Comings and Goings of a Jewish Community in Fayette County.” He will discuss the Jewish families who settled in the towns of Fayette County in the mid-1800s seeking economic opportunities and religious freedom.
