Parade starts at 10:30am

The annual Juneteenth Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 22, with a variety of activities planned.The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. Floats and other entries will stage in the downtown parking area at the Landmark Event Center. Lineup for judging of parade entries will begin at 9:30 a.m. Entry forms can be picked up at the Giddings Public Library.

A block party will follow the parade in the 200 block of W. Houston Street. Activities include a BBQ Cookoff, live DJ, bouncy houses, volleyball, cards, dominoes, face painting, along with free food and drinks.
