Christoph Campestrini Conducts the Texas Festival Orchestra

Conductor Christoph Campestrini is spending this week at Round Top, rehearsing with young artists in preparation for Saturday's concert.
Acclaimed violinist Regis Pasquier, Round Top faculty, has been working with violin students to help them perfect their performance skills.
The Round Top Music Festival concert series continues this Saturday, June 15. At 7:30 pm in the Festival Concert Hall, the Orchestral Concert features the Texas Festival Orchestra, conducted by Christoph Campestrini, performing works by Brahms, Elgar and Saint-Saëns. Violinist Regis Pasquier will join the TFO in the performance of Saint-Saëns' Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3 in b. Buy tickets now.
Saturday afternoon, you can enjoy two chamber music concerts! At 1:30 pm in the Edythe Bates Old Chapel, Round Top faculty will perform solo and duet works by Bach and Beethoven, among others. Buy tickets now.
At 3:30 pm in the Concert Hall, young artists will join faculty in the performance of Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale, conducted by Jason Thomas Aylward and narrated by James VanDemark. After intermission, young artists and faculty will perform Double Concerto for Oboe, Harp, Strings and Percussion by Witold Lutoslawski, also conducted by Mr. Aylward. Buy tickets now.
