The Meals on Wheels / Senior Nutrition Program is administered in Lee, Fayette and Bastrop counties serving over 4000 meals per month. Staff and volunteers at Combined Community Action, Inc. plan, prepare and deliver to a rapidly growing number of our aging population who do not have adequate nutrition. In spite of funding shortages, increased fuel prices and limited volunteers these meals provide a meaningful contribution to the fight against hunger and loniliness among our homebound neighbors. It provides for people who, more than anything, want to remain living on their own...with dignity. Meals on Wheels helps make that possible, with caring support from the community.
